Great Start, Stretch Goals, and In-Person Events!

The first day is in the books, and we're at ~40% funded!!!

Fun Fact: With the first launch of Top Tale, it took roughly five days to get to 40%.

All things considered, this is not a bad way to start a campaign! I have all of you to thank for that! Many of you joined me on the first attempt to fund, but there are many new backers this round. I will keep updates relatively short (less than a 4-minute read) and few (only significant news and goal unlocks). Any important points can be skimmed through quickly by looking for bold text.

Stretch Goals!

As you may have noticed, for this campaign we have both social stretch goals, and funding stretch goals. I'll start with the easy one... If this project funds in the first 72-hours, then every backer will receive a 10-card pack of Top Tale: Tall Tale, which is one of the next expansions planned for the Top Tale series. I'm tentatively planning the next Kickstarter campaign to be for both "Top Tale: The O.G. Volume 2", and "Top Tale: Tall Tale", in the second half of 2021.

So I'll be doing my part to hit that goal, but I also need you to do your part. That's where the social stretch goals come in. I've laid out social stretch goals to help get the word out about the campaign, and give the game more visibility. These include sharing and various "likes" on social Media. In the campaign page, I've made it fairly quick and painless to accomplish each task, and in the P.S. section of this update I've replicated the main Links. For each social stretch goal unlocked, I'll add THREE topic cards to the base game (starting at 125 cards). Here's where we sit today (we've almost unlocked the FB shares goal!):

In-Person Events

For those in the Northern Colorado area, I'm pleased to once again host play test sessions at Sparge Brewing company. Just for showing up and giving Top Tale a try, you'll be getting a FREE pint, on me! Not only that, but you'll be some of the first to test out the cards for Top Tale: Tall Tale, some of which will be in that promo pack (assuming we can hit our first funding goal)! Sorry to all that cannot physically attend, I will announce virtual play test events in the next update!

The two Sparge-hosted events are already scheduled for November 8th from 2-6 PM, and November 18th from 4-8 PM! (Subject to change, due to evolving COVID-19 guidance).
